I had the delicious pleasure of a residency here with access to two studios, one for writing and one for dancing. I was working on an essay for Yvonne Rainer’s new book, continuing my research on sustainability concepts for the arts ecosystem and working on my 2022 commission with the Chocolate Factory. All in the midst of the verdant beauty of this residency. My amazing cohorts were Moira Smiley, Yasmine Diaz, Siobhan McBride, and Nia Witherspoon.
